Practical Importing

The importance of understanding the full import process helps businesses to react quickly and professionally to situations which often arise as a result of operating global supply chains. Being able to organise international transport, manage long distance relationships and deal with customs clearance quickly and efficiently is imperative as delays at Customs are expensive. Knowing your landed cost for on-selling in the UK or internationally is critical and needs to be calculated prior to placing your order.

Thanks again to you for such an outstanding training session last week. You left us all thoroughly indoctrinated into the procedures of Importing – some of us with far more action points to follow up at this stage than others.”

ANN-MARIE – Etherington, Gemini Dispersions

Delegates will be more confident when importing whether in a sales, customer service, import administration or warehouse position.
