MCIPS (Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) is the internationally recognised standard for a procurement professional and marks you out as at the top of your game, significantly enhancing your career and earning prospects.
CIPS is the leading voice of the procurement and supply profession and, with a global community of over 103,000 in 150 countries, the largest. CIPS set the standards for the profession and are the only regulated body in the world to promote a Code of Conduct.
Chamber Business Training operates nine CIPS study centres across the country with our Head Office located at Red Rose Court, Accrington.
We offer an extensive portfolio of study options for all CIPS training programmes including Day and Evening classes, Intensive Class Based Weekend Courses and a variety of Distance Learning Options. In addition, we can also offer In House Training on site right across the country.
We offer all levels from level 2 the Certificate in Procurement and Supply through to Level 6, Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply. On successful completion of the Diploma levels alongside 3 years professional experience you may apply for full membership of CIPS (MCIPS).
CIPS Level 2 Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations is aimed at people who are new to the world of procurement. It is designed to cover the basic principles of purchasing, procurement and supply and develop workplace skills in order to achieve a recognised qualification.
CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations introduces a range of essential key skills. It provides a sound understanding of the challenges and some insight into best practices and skills and techniques in the field of purchasing and supply chain management.
CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply is aimed at people with previous business experience or qualifications in procurement, purchasing or supply chain operations. It gives an insight into best practices and provides a natural progression after completing CIPS Level 3.
CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply is aimed at senior buyers, contract managers or supply chain professionals who have gained the CIPS Level 4 Diploma and are seeking to operate at a more senior level. It provides the expertise to improve organisational procurement.
CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply is the final diploma in the CIPS learning ladder of qualifications. It focuses on building strategic procurement competence. On successful completion you may apply for full membership of CIPS and use the letters MCIPS after your name.
