
Businesses across Lancashire and beyond are being encouraged to enhance their international trade capabilities, as a new series of expert led training courses has been announced for early 2026.
Following the success of previous programmes, the upcoming Global Trade Training Series will kick off on Thursday, 8 January 2026, offering companies and professionals the opportunity to build essential skills in importing, exporting, and customs compliance.
Organised as part of a wider initiative to support UK trade growth, the training is tailored for professionals in logistics, finance, procurement, and supply chain roles. Each session is designed to deliver hands on, practical knowledge that can be applied immediately in the workplace.
The confirmed 2026 course dates are as follows:
- 20 Jan 2026 – Incoterms® 2020 Rules
- 22 Jan 2026 – Importing Basics
- 27 Jan 2026 – Understanding Exporting
- 29 Jan 2026 – Understanding Commodity Codes
