PM+M reports strong 2025 performance with growth, innovation, and continued community investment

PM+M – the chartered accountancy, business advisory, and financial planning firm – has reported a strong performance in 2025, marked by continued financial growth, service innovation, and sustained investment in its people, clients, and local communities.

PM+M’s turnover increased by over 9%, driven by significant growth across several of its core service lines, including Audit, Cloud and Financial Planning. Headcount rose by 6.5% in the last financial year to 164 employees and, following continued investment in people and skills, the business currently has a 189-strong team.

The firm continued to strengthen its national profile, climbing six places in the 2025 Accountancy Age 50+50 rankings. It also welcomed a new intake of 10 apprentices, made more than 40 promotions across all levels, and launched several major service innovations including its new Virtual Finance Office and Workplace + Protect offering.

The past 12 months also saw PM+M secure B Corp certification which reflects its deep-rooted commitment to responsible business practices and positive social impact. Alongside this, the firm was ranked fourth in the Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers 2025 – further recognising its long-standing dedication to developing future talent. In addition, the firm secured being an ‘Employer of Choice’, for the third year running, in recognition of the deep levels of team engagement.

PM+M’s Positive Impact programme continued to make a difference across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West, with the team supporting scores of charities, community groups, and local initiatives through volunteering, fundraising, and pro-bono support.
