East Lancashire Hospice hosted its spectacular Winter Ball on Saturday, 29th November 2025 at The Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Accrington, bringing together 250 supporters for an evening of celebration and fundraising.

The event, proudly sponsored by Cardboard Box Company, Media Village, Nybble IT, and Marstons Brewery, was a resounding success. Guests enjoyed a night of entertainment, from Ella Shaw and E2E band, as well as the excitement of an auction featuring incredible prizes generously donated by local businesses. Thanks to the remarkable support of the community, the evening raised an outstanding £37,178.00 to help fund the vital care provided by East Lancashire Hospice.

“Our Annual Ball is a highlight in our events calendar and an amazing opportunity for people to come together at Christmas time to celebrate Hospice care in our community.

It’s always a fantastic evening, and we couldn’t do it without our incredible sponsors, local businesses donating prizes, and our community attending the night. All money raised on the evening helps us to provide the compassionate and dignified care we offer to our patients and their families.”

The Winter Ball is a sell-out event every year, and plans are already underway for next year’s celebration.
