East Lancashire Hospice is excited to announce its first-ever Classic Car Show, taking place on Saturday 5th July 2025 from 11am to 3pm at Thwaites in Mellor Brook.

In proud partnership with Thwaites, the event promises a fantastic day out for all the family, with an impressive display of classic cars, bustling market stalls, live music, and a mouth-watering BBQ.

Children will have the chance to meet the gentle giants of Thwaites: the Shire Horses, and take part in Car Show Bingo, where prizes will be up for grabs!

Jackie Morris, Community Fundraiser at East Lancashire Hospice said:

“We’re thrilled to bring this brand new event to our community. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate classic motors while raising vital funds for hospice care across the region.”

Rick Bailey, Chairman at Thwaites, said:

“We’re proud to host this impressive event that will honour classic cars in support of East Lancashire Hospice. At Thwaites, we’re proud of our strong heritage so this partnership is a great fit- it’ll make a fun day out for the family, all while raising much needed funds for a vital cause that benefits so many families across East Lancashire.”

If you own a classic car and want to show it off, registrations are now open via the hospice’s website for just £10: www.eastlancshospice.org.uk

Come along, enjoy the nostalgia, and support a great cause; it’s set to be a summer highlight for East Lancashire!
