Businesses are invited to access Import and Export Training and Consultancy provided by Burnley, Pendle, Hyndburn, and Blackburn with Darwen Councils UK Shared Prosperity Funds.

Available to companies located in these areas is a National Accredited course on Exports mapped to level 2 NVQ on 24 Sept 2024 and an Importing course addressing all of HMRC financial reliefs on the 19 Sept 2024.

Delivering the training is the experienced Customs & International Trade Trainer Mandy Lockett MIEx, International Business Director of the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce who comments:

Companies can also join the region’s exclusive International Trade Club where they will meet with like-minded businesses tasked with growing their international footprint. On the 16 May 2024 the Club will be focussing upon three themes.  Firstly, Resolving International Trade Barriers; Secondly, Accreditation and Conformity; and lastly, Bribery and Corruption.

Established member of the Club and two times Queens Award winners for Enterprise International Trade is Langtec Ltd based in Altham, who regularly attends the Clubs meetings.
