Lancashire businesses invited to help celebrate the people powering grassroots football | Member News
Lancashire FA is preparing to bring its football community together for the annual Red Rose Awards, an evening dedicated to recognising the volunteers, clubs and leagues whose commitment keeps grassroots football thriving across the county.
Taking place on 26th November 2026 at the Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel, this year’s event is set to be the biggest yet, bringing together people from across Lancashire to celebrate the passion, dedication and achievements of our shared community.
Across twelve award categories, the evening will shine a spotlight on some of the remarkable people who give their time and energy to the grassroots game – from coaches and match officials to clubs, leagues and grounds teams, all playing a vital role in making football happen across Lancashire.
For Lancashire FA, the event is also about making recognition accessible. Every shortlisted finalist receives a complimentary ticket, making sure those at the heart of the celebration can be there to enjoy their moment.
The Awards also provide an opportunity to bring Lancashire’s business and grassroots football communities closer together. With hundreds of grassroots stories to tell, the Red Rose Awards give local businesses the chance to stand alongside Lancashire FA in celebrating those achievements.
Opportunities range from supporting an individual award through to becoming the event’s headline partner, with partnerships designed to provide meaningful visibility, engagement and connection with communities across the county.
Sarah Singleton, Head of Partnerships at Lancashire FA, said:
“There are so many incredible people across Lancashire who give so much, usually without expecting any recognition in return. Our Awards are a fantastic opportunity to put them centre stage and celebrate the difference they make. We’d love to partner with more local businesses that share that passion for Lancashire and want to connect meaningfully with the communities they serve.”
