On Friday 5th September 2025, James Alpe Ltd hosted its annual Charity Golf Day at Clitheroe Golf Club, bringing together 76 players across 19 teams for a shotgun start.
Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone involved, the event raised an outstanding £5,597.86 in aid of East Lancashire Hospice.
The hospice provides vital care and support for patients with life-limiting illnesses, along with their families, across Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley. Each year, it needs to raise more than £4 million to ensure all of its services remain free of charge to those who need them most.
Supporting the hospice is especially important to the team at James Alpe Ltd, as its work has touched so many local lives.
Managing Director Lee Shaw said:
“This was the first year we’ve organised an event of this size, and we are incredibly proud to have raised such a fantastic amount for the hospice. To see a mix of work providers, clients, suppliers, colleagues, friends and family all come together in support of such a worthy cause was truly special. A huge thank you goes to our headline sponsor, Cunbar Paints, whose generous backing helped us raise even more funds for the hospice.”
James Alpe Ltd is committed to giving back to the community, and the success of this event is a reflection of the company’s values and the strength of its local partnerships.
