Alex Norris MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Housing, Communities and Local Government, and Sarah Smith MP, Hyndburn and Haslingden, visited Elmfield Hall on Thursday to show support for the Community Ownership Fund grant received by Hyndburn charity Community Solutions North West.

The visit highlighted the charity’s efforts to help safeguard the future of Elmfield Hall, a vital community hub in the heart of Hyndburn. The Community Ownership Fund supports local initiatives and important community assets to ensure they continue to serve the needs of local residents for years to come.

The Community Ownership Fund was established by the Government to provide financial support for communities looking to take ownership of local assets at risk of closure. The grant, will secure the future of Elmfield Hall and allow it to continue hosting essential services, events, and activities that benefit the local community.

Community Solutions North West representatives attended the event, to showcase their plans for the hall’s revitalization and the positive impact the funding would have on the area.
