On Thursday, October 5th, 2023, James Alpe Ltd warmly welcomed and hosted ten teams at their highly anticipated Charity Golf Day.

Despite facing less-than-ideal weather conditions, the remarkable enthusiasm displayed by all the players turned the event into a resounding success.

Lee Shaw, Managing Director at James Alpe Ltd, extended heartfelt gratitude to LKQ, their main event sponsor, for their generous support. Their contribution was deeply appreciated, and it played a pivotal role in making the event a resounding triumph.

This year’s chosen beneficiaries were the ‘North West Air Ambulance’ and Ronald McDonald House Charities, two outstanding organisations dedicated to making a positive impact on people’s lives. Guest speakers from these charities shared their inspiring stories and messages, leaving everyone in attendance deeply moved and motivated.

The inclusion of the “Nearest the Pin” and “Longest Drive” competitions added a thrilling dimension of enjoyment for all participants. These engaging competitions further amplified their collective efforts to raise substantial donations for the cherished causes they support. Special recognition goes to John Beecher from Blackthorn Repair Management for his generous donation, which significantly contributed to their fundraising success.

In the end, a remarkable total of £2,069 was raised, and this sum will be equally distributed between the two deserving charities. These contributions will undoubtedly make a significant and meaningful difference in the lives of those who benefit from the services and support of these exceptional organisations.
