Nicola, from Birchall Foodservice, is stepping out of her comfort zone and onto the dancefloor as she takes part in Pendleside Does Strictly 2026

While she jokes that the opportunity came after being “kindly nominated” by a friend, Nicola is embracing the challenge alongside her dance partner, Lucy, in support of a cause that is incredibly close to her heart.

Eighteen years ago, Pendleside Hospice cared for Nicola’s father during the final stages of his illness. The support and compassion shown not only to him but to her entire family left a lasting impact, making this fundraising challenge a meaningful way to give something back.

Nicola is now asking for the support of friends, colleagues and the wider business community as she prepares for the big night. Every donation, no matter the size, will help Pendleside Hospice continue providing vital care and support to local patients and their families.

The event itself will take place on Friday 13th November 2026.
