We’re looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Membership Account Manager / Executive to join our Membership Team.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines member engagement, account management, relationship building, and business development. Depending on your experience, the role can be shaped to place greater emphasis on either managing and growing existing member relationships or identifying and converting new membership opportunities. The balance between new business development and account management will be tailored to the successful candidate’s experience and strengths.
This is a target-driven role where success will be measured against a range of agreed KPIs and objectives. We’re looking for someone who is motivated by achieving results, takes ownership of their performance and enjoys delivering measurable outcomes. Whether you’re an experienced account manager looking to develop strategic business relationships or a sales professional with a passion for supporting local businesses, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with Chamber members.
- Build strong connections with business owners and decision-makers.
- Conduct member reviews to understand needs and deliver value.
- Drive retention, renewals and member engagement.
- Generate new memberships through networking, referrals and events.
- Promote Chamber services, events, training and sponsorship opportunities.
- Onboard new members and maximise their membership value.
- Represent the Chamber at business and networking events.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver an excellent member experience.
- Achieve membership growth, retention, engagement and revenue targets.
