Burnley and Brierfield MP Oliver Ryan Joins Line-up For The 2027 Great Chamber Sing Off

East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that Burnley and Brierfield MP Oliver Ryan will be one of 13 brave contestants taking to the stage at the 2027 Great Chamber Sing Off at Burnley Mechanics.

Oliver will be performing in aid of the Team Rise Project, a Brierfield-based charity supporting local people and communities through a range of initiatives designed to improve wellbeing, opportunity and social inclusion.

Now firmly established as one of East Lancashire’s most eagerly anticipated fundraising events, the Great Chamber Sing Off brings together business, charity and community leaders who swap their day jobs for the spotlight. Contestants perform live in front of a packed audience, all while raising vital funds for causes close to their hearts – with over £30,000 being raised over the last 2 years.

Joining Oliver Ryan in the 2027 line-up are Emma Weston (Emma Weston Illustration), Nathan Lawrence (Menzies LLP), Simone Hartley-Gott (East Lancashire Learning Group), Gill Taylor (Harwes Farm CIC), Alison Dixon (A Dixon Autos), Helen Charnock (Brown & Brown Insurance Brokers Ltd), Charlotte Gittins (Worden Green Recruitment), Paul Bentley (Burnley College), Rachael Shatliff (East Lancs Down’s Syndrome Support Group), Charlotte Steels (Burnley Leisure & Culture), Gemma Dyson (Milly’s Smiles) and Nicky Sorah (Trident Utilities).

Simon Brierley, Chief Executive of East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce:

“The Great Chamber Sing Off has become one of the most unique and entertaining events in the East Lancashire calendar. What makes it so special is seeing people from across our business and community networks put themselves outside their comfort zones to raise money for causes that matter deeply to them. We are absolutely thrilled that Oliver Ryan will be joining this year’s line-up and supporting the fantastic work of the Team Rise Project.”

Oliver Ryan MP:

“When I was asked to take part in the Great Chamber Sing Off, my first reaction was probably the same as everyone else’s: what have I agreed to? But it is all for a fantastic cause. The Team Rise Project makes a real difference to people in Brierfield and beyond, and I am proud to be supporting its work. I am
looking forward to the challenge, raising as much money as possible and hopefully giving the audience a performance they will remember for the right reasons.”

The Great Chamber Sing Off 2027 promises an evening filled with music, laughter, friendly competition and fundraising, with all contestants competing for the coveted Sing Off title while generating support for their chosen charities.

Tickets are available now from Burnley Mechanics, and supporters are encouraged to come along and cheer on the contestants as they take centre stage for an unforgettable night of entertainment and fundraising.
