Blackburn Beer & Gin Festival returns this May Bank Holiday to raise funds for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone

The much-loved Blackburn Beer & Gin Festival is set to return over the May Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd May 2026, bringing together the local community and business supporters for a weekend of great drinks, entertainment and fundraising.

Now in its 11th year, the festival takes place at Blackburn Rugby Club and has become a highlight of the town’s social calendar, welcoming hundreds of visitors each year.

Festivalgoers can enjoy more than 60 real ales from local and national breweries, alongside a curated selection of craft gins, street food from local vendors and a packed programme of live music and entertainment across the three-day event.

Importantly, the festival also plays a key role in raising funds for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, helping support the charity’s work with thousands of young people across the borough.

The event is made possible thanks to the continued backing of the local business community. Farleys Solicitors, CoolKit, CubeFunder and Mortimers Estate Agents have been confirmed as headline sponsors for 2026, helping organisers deliver another fantastic festival while supporting an important local cause.

As part of their support, festival sponsors will also be invited to an exclusive business networking event, bringing together organisations from across Lancashire while supporting the work of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone.

Tamara Hitchen, Fundraising & Stewardship Manager at Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, said:

“The Blackburn Beer & Gin Festival has become a real highlight of the May Bank Holiday weekend and something the local community and businesses look forward to every year.

We’re incredibly grateful to Farleys Solicitors, CoolKit, CubeFunder and Mortimers Estate Agents for coming on board as headline sponsors for 2026. Their support helps us continue to deliver a fantastic event that brings people together while also supporting the young people of Blackburn and Darwen.”

With thousands of drinks served, live entertainment across the weekend and a vibrant festival atmosphere, the Blackburn Beer & Gin Festival continues to go from strength to strength.
