Accrington Stanley, Accrington-based training provider North Lancs Training Group CIC (NLTG) and Vita Accrington teamed up to give away hundreds of Easter eggs to young fans attending the club’s home match against Carlisle United on Easter Monday.

Under 12 Accrington Stanley and Carlisle supporters were the lucky recipients of the free Easter eggs, which were handed out in the stands, in Coley’s and around the Wham Stadium with the help of the Official Accrington Stanley Supporter’s Trust (OASST) before kick-off at the League Two fixture.

Hundreds of young fans also posed for pictures in a specially branded selfie frame, while there was also an appearance from the Easter bunny.

The initiative, led by local partners committed to community engagement and family fun, was aimed at celebrating Easter, as well as to say thank you to the loyal supporters who support the club every week.

An annual event, the Easter egg giveaway is just one of many community-driven activities supported by Accrington Stanley, reinforcing their shared commitment to making football at the Wham Stadium a fun, family-friendly experience.
