Guess the Country Flag Competition – Winner announced!

The Chamber’s International Business team held a ‘Guess the Country Flag’ competition at the Chamber’s second Open House event, held on 31st January 2025.

After meeting the team and learning about the multiple services on offer to get your business trading internationally – from customs declarations and documentation, to the prestigious International Trade Club – attendees were then challenged to name the countries behind 5 different flags from around the world.

The flags were from the nations of Greece, Canada, South Africa, Switzerland and Norway.

Those who proved successful were then entered into a final draw for the grand prize – a box of Lindt chocolates and a bottle of champagne!

Roger Marsden, Export Sales Administrator at Panaz Ltd, joined Stef Heywood, International Business Manager, to draw the lucky winner – Mpho Kgatuke, Commercial Solicitor from Forbes Solicitors.

Mpho commented:

“The whole day was brilliant and very useful as I learned about what the Chamber can do for us. It was very enjoyable and I will definitely be back.”

Mandy Lockett, International Business Director at the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, said:
