Vacancy: Business Development Executive

About the Role:
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our Chamber Business Training – Commercial department. You’ll work closely with the Business and Commercial Manager to identify new revenue streams, build client relationships, and achieve business development targets. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary, and we’re looking for someone who is ready to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and identify new revenue streams, clients, partnerships, and collaborations. Support the Business and Commercial Manager in achieving business development targets.
- Developing Growth: Assist in the creation of business development plans to achieve growth and new revenue streams. Work closely with the wider CBT team to support business development initiatives.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Support the Business and Commercial Manager in sustaining high levels of positive engagement and strong client relationships. Help address the current and future needs of key clients.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Identify potential threats and opportunities for the business.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Support the Business and Commercial Manager in outlining the benefits of working with CBT to potential clients and achieving sales and revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing and operations teams to provide insights from clients and market feedback.
- Track and Report Performance: Monitor and track business development performance metrics, sales targets, and KPIs. Assist in producing progress reports as requested.
- Attend Industry Events and Networking: Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote brand awareness and develop new leads.
- Maintain CRM and Database: Utilise CRM software to track leads, contacts, sales activities, and client interactions. Maintain up-to-date records of interactions and opportunities.
- Budgets and Finance: Support the creation of annual budgets for business development activities and assist in debt recovery when required.
