James Alpe Ltd has been announced as the winner of the ‘Large Business Award’ in the 2024 Pendleside Corporate Challenge. The judges praised the company’s outstanding commitment, dedication, and impact, noting that the team excelled in all criteria required for the award.

Over the three-month challenge, James Alpe Ltd raised an impressive £7,391.66 through a variety of fundraising initiatives. Their solid dedication was clear from the outset as they actively engaged their entire team, coordinating a series of impactful events, including spin classes, charity walks, golf challenges, raffles, cake & bake sales and more. Their enthusiastic participation was consistently documented on social media, where they shared updates that helped promote Pendleside Hospice and encouraged further community support.

Tragically, this year, the James Alpe Ltd team experienced the loss of a close colleague and friend, who received care at Pendleside Hospice. This personal connection strengthened their commitment to the charity, driving their determination to raise as much as possible for the cause.

In addition to James Alpe’s exceptional fundraising efforts, Enterprise, a longstanding supporter of the company, contributed a further £2,000 to their total, bringing their overall contribution to an outstanding £9,391.66. Enterprise’s ongoing support has been fundamental for James Alpe Ltd, aiding their charitable efforts and supporting this years’ annual fundraising event for the Burnley & Blackburn Motor Traders Charity Ball.

James Alpe Ltd’s achievements contributed significantly to the success of the 2024 Pendleside Corporate Challenge, which raised an astonishing total of £232,243.04 from over 70 participating companies.

The team’s remarkable efforts underscore their commitment to making a positive difference in the community, and this award serves as a fitting recognition of their passion and hard work.
