East Lancashire Hospice celebrated a monumental success with their annual Ribble Valley Pub Walk, which took place on Saturday, June 22nd. Marking a decade of their annual Ribble Valley Pub Walk, this year’s event shattered previous records and set new milestones for the hospice.
The 10th Annual Pub Walk was nothing short of incredible, drawing in over 1,100 participants and raising an astounding £31,000 for the hospice. This remarkable achievement highlights the community’s unwavering support and dedication to the hospice’s mission.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Rotary Club of Ribblesdale and official sponsors, Intack Self Drive, whose support was invaluable. Additionally, the incredible volunteers and the numerous pubs who welcomed walkers with open arms and fantastic deals; their contributions were essential to the event’s success.
The hospice extends its deepest gratitude to all of its supporters. Their participation and fundraising efforts will significantly enhance patient care, supporting individuals and their families facing life-limiting illnesses in Blackburn, Hyndburn, Darwen, and the Ribble Valley.
Event organiser and Head of Fundraising at East Lancashire Hospice, Leanne Green added;
“We’re blown away by the amount raised for the hospice, the support we’ve received from our supporters, the pubs, and our local community. We’re so grateful to the Rotary Club of Ribblesdale who have helped to organise this incredible event and to our official sponsors,
