Community CVS is proud to announce its recent OFSTED inspection, which recognises significant improvements across all aspects of its training centre provision.
The inspection report, led by Alastair Mollon HMI, highlights Community CVS’s commitment to delivering high-quality training and capacity building for the health and social care sector throughout Lancashire.
In light of this recognition, Community CVS has opened enrolment for the next cohort of the “Aspiring Leaders in Health and Social Care Skills for Life Boot camp,” funded by the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub and set to commence in September.
OFSTED Recognition
The recent OFSTED monitoring visit praised Community CVS for its ambitious and effective curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of aspiring leaders and managers in the health and social care sector. The report lauded the organisation’s dedication to quality training and its positive impact on learners’ progression and career development. Inspectors rigorously evaluated the “Aspiring Leaders in Health and Social Care Skills for Life Bootcamp,” observing lessons, interviewing staff and learners, reviewing policies and documentation, and consulting with the CVS leadership and management team.

- “Learners benefit from high-quality training that improves their confidence, self-esteem, and leadership skills.”

Aspiring Leaders in Health and Social Care Skills for Life Boot camp
Building on this success, Community CVS is now enrolling participants for the next cohort of the “Aspiring Leaders in Health and Social Care Skills for Life Bootcamp,” starting in September. This 10-week programme, funded by the UK Government, offers an accredited qualification in leadership and management, designed to equip participants with essential skills for career advancement. The course is fully funded for learners, with organisations receiving 90%-100% funding subject to specific criteria.
