A Blackburn plastic engineering business is celebrating the receipt of an early Christmas gift; a 43% saving on its energy bills!

Chamber member, the Partwell Group, is set to enjoy a £40,000 annual saving after being introduced to energy consultant and Diamond Ambassador, the Red Hawk Group.

Sarah Dean, membership manager for the Chamber, was chatting to Julie Kraushaar from the Partwell Group, at an East Lancashire Chamber event and one of the topics which came up was energy costs.

“I had been speaking to Red Hawk Group’s Managing Director Billy Ingham about his services recently and felt it worth an introduction between the two businesses.”

Julie, financial controller at Partwell, said:

“Energy prices have skyrocketed in recent years and every time our prices go up, we are feeling the squeeze on our bottom line.

“We had no idea whether there were any savings available to us, but knew it was worth having a conversation with a consultant who had access to a range of potential suppliers which we didn’t have.
