Future of Customs Declarations – the call for evidence is looking for companies of all sizes to give their views on potential simplifications to Customs Declarations and the way that businesses use technology in completing declarations and other customs processes.  Get involved at  https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/the-future-of-customs-declarations Consultation closes 8 September 2023.

Temporary Admissions – allows goods to be imported into the UK temporarily without payment of import duties. The call for evidence is on how HMRC can improve the Temporary Admission procedure in the UK as part of the government’s vision for the UK border to be the most effective in the world by simplifying procedures for traders and individuals.  Get involved at   https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/bringing-goods-into-the-uk-temporarily/bringing-goods-into-the-uk-temporarily-call-for-evidence  Consultation closes 22 September 2023.
