On Friday staff at Community Solutions Northwest based at Elmfield Hall were joined by Kelly and Maddison from Sundown Solutions Ltd and Clare from Woodcocks Haworth & Nuttall Solicitors to launch the hub with a litter pick in the local area, with over 50 bags of litter collected.

CleanupUK is a charity that unites volunteers to bring about cleaner, connected, and safer urban and rural communities by tackling the litter problems where they live. Cleaning up and litter-picking are activities which bring people closer together, enable neighbours to meet one another other and help create a greater sense of pride and community in local areas.

Elmfield Hall have been provided with litter pickers, bag hoops, safety gloves, and hi-vis jackets for local businesses, schools, and community groups to use for their own litter picks.
