Husband and wife team Katie and Richard Whitehead, with 2 neurodiverse children of their own, have dedicated their lives to reaching the most vulnerable people in their community, providing them with access to opportunities that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to reach.
Via a range of creative activities and programmes, Divine Days CIC embrace and celebrate difference, supporting children and young people who are disabled and/or learning disabled, and their families. The Divine Dance performance class is one of their provisions, which provides an amazing opportunity for SEND children to take part in accessible dance classes and learn a variety of dance skills, whilst having fun and being creative in a safe and structured environment.
They now have the incredible opportunity to take all of the children to perform in Disneyland Paris! There will be 2 performances, 1 in Disney, and 1 in Paris itself. They rely on the kindness of donations for much of their creative provision but believe passionately that difference and diversity is a true representation of creative arts and that all children have the right to access safe and fun environments which enhance their lives and provide them with their moments to shine!
Katie and Richard work hard to make dreams come true for all of the Divine Days children and young people, and your kind donation will ensure that no child is left out on this incredible, once in a lifetime trip, as well as paying for costumes for each of the children.
