Hyndburn-based charity Community Solutions Northwest (CSNW) are delighted to announce they have been successful in securing a grant of £25,000 through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
This is to deliver Multiply, part of the government’s £270 million investment in adult numeracy in England to help people progress and secure great jobs.
Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. If you’re aged 19 and over and don’t have maths GCSE at grade C (or equivalent), you can access free numeracy courses through Multiply to build your confidence with numbers and gain a qualification.
CSNW will use the grant to help participants, volunteers, and staff improve their numeracy skills through free training options helping people to build their confidence with maths in their everyday and working lives.
