On Wednesday local charity Community Solutions Northwest hosted an event for International Women’s Day.

38 women gathered at Elmfield Hall for a tasty afternoon of networking including afternoon tea from Mr Gatty’s tearoom, and a chance to hear from charity CEO Maggie Moody about current and future plans for the charity.

Enterprise Development Manager Chris Emmerson said:

“The event was a great celebration of International Women’s Day, and helped raise funds to support our work in the local community.”

The event raised £760 for Community Solutions.
