Create a trusted support network

Are you…

…a low carbon tech firm developing new products, facing barriers, looking to secure funding and partners?

or…

…a manufacturer under pressure post COVID-19 with an appetite to diversify into low carbon technologies, find opportunities, secure funding and new supply chains?

In both cases the companies participating would be supported at all turns whilst developing their businesses in a new direction, making tangible productivity gains.

UK Circle of Life, a Peer network group for manufacturers

A fully funded, industry leading Peer network program for SME leaders of businesses that want to ‘Go against the downward curve and experience growth through diversity in Lancashire’

Whilst the UK has some of the most productive businesses in the world, the current effects of the COVID-19 pandemic combined with the transition into a new trading environment with the EU has the potential to further disrupt UK productivity. HOWEVER, it also presents an opportunity for businesses to adapt their business models, create new ways of working and through diversity open new markets and drive growth.

Who is RedCAT?

RedCAT, the Lancashire Centre for Alternative Technologies, is an initiative developed and led by East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, to support innovators and manufactures of low carbon technologies access funding, showcase their ideas and execute robust commercialization strategies.

Make it happen!

Through open discussion in our small peer groups of like-minded business owners, facing the same or similar challenges, we will support and brainstorm current issues, find ways in which to overcome them and look to the future with renewed confidence that we can and will accomplish growth within our businesses by taking positive action.

The discussions will be geared to your specific companies needs, in areas that will be identified by you. The aim is very much to support you to carry out activities that will improve productivity in your business as part of the journey to diversify, revive and restore your business.

Our Peer network group of no more than 10 individuals will have the opportunity to attend 6 roundtable group sessions, and access 3.5 hours of individual one to one support over a 12 weeks period (see dates above).

Whether virtual or in person, our roundtable sessions will be a confidential space in which you can build a network of trusted advisors sharing knowledge, experiences and expertise and where industry experts will be available to join us, when required, to discuss burning issues and to help guide us forward.

UK Circle of life Peer Network will be lead and facilitated and presented as an open discussion group. Places are available on a first come first served basis as we have a limited number of spaces to ensure a successful outcome for the group.

Through diversification and opening ourselves up to new market sectors that represent the future of our economy, we can renew our strength in industry and manufacturing in Lancashire, and explore areas such as rail, low carbon energy products, construction for international landmark facilities, robotics and many more.
