East Lancashire Hospice is thrilled to announce its first ever Community Iftar event, inviting members of the local community to join in supporting the vital services provided by the hospice.

The event aims to bring the community together during Ramadan to find out about the Hospice and the services provided to their patients.

The Community Iftar event will take place on Wednesday 20th March from 7pm to 8:30pm at East Lancashire Hospice, Park Lee Road, Blackburn, BB2 3NY, where attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious food and refreshments while learning more about the hospice’s mission and services. The event is free to attend, and all are welcome to join.

Iftar is the evening meal in which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset. The Hospice is proud to host this event, celebrating diversity and inclusivity within the community, serving as a testament to the hospice’s commitment to providing support and comfort to individuals from all walks of life during challenging times.

Leanne Green, Head of Fundraising at East Lancashire Hospice said:
