The International Trade Club is the oldest Export Club in the UK, established in 1957 and still going strong. The ITC is managed for its members by the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by Forbes Solicitors and PM+M Solutions for Business LLP, and is exclusive to businesses importing or exporting.

Annual membership covers one delegate attending four breakfast meetings and a lunch where presenters will present on topical subjects within the international arena. Best practice can be shared along with access to a full range of international trade support and guidance with encouragement to develop international trade activities.

Secure your place NOW for our next International Trade Club Breakfast Meeting session on 13th July.

Delegates will hear from John Baines, Department for Business and Trade Specialist, who will look at digital technologies that can help boost export trade. Daniel Fletcher of Forbes Solicitors will also provide a satellite overview of the numerous commercial and intellectual property considerations that are associated with operating an eCommerce business, as well as the challenges that they face.

Andy Kirkaldy of PM+M will then review the VAT considerations for B2C e-commerce trading with Europe and provide an insight on the EUs proposals for VAT in the digital age.

Finally, Dan Giannasi, Head of Cyber & Innovation at the Cyber Resilience Centre, will discuss the biggest threats and the latest scams cyber criminals use against businesses. Dan will also explain how the Cyber Resilience Centre can support businesses to protect themselves against attacks through membership and cyber security services.
