Four venues from the James’ Places group received awards at the regional finals for the Wedding Industry Awards 2023 this week.
Falcon Manor won Best Hotel Wedding Venue at the Yorkshire & North East finals, which took place at The Fed in Gateshead on Monday 7th November. At the North West finals at Crow Wood Hotel on Tuesday 8th November, Mitton Hall won Best Events Team, Holmes Mill won Best Wedding Venue, and Eaves Hall was highly commended in the Best Historic Wedding Venue category.
As regional winners, Falcon Manor, Mitton Hall and Holmes Mill will go through to the national finals, which take place on Wednesday 25th January 2023 at The Underglobe in London.
The prestigious Wedding Industry Awards are designed to acknowledge and celebrate excellence within the wedding industry and are awarded based on reviews from the couples who were married at the venues.
Mike Auld, Group Operations Director of James’ Places commented: “We are absolutely delighted that four of our beautiful venues have been acknowledged at these prestigious awards. We were up against some truly amazing venues across the region so it’s a testament to our fantastic teams who work tirelessly to deliver the very best for our couples. I want to take the opportunity to thank all of our past couples who voted for us. Without their incredible support and the hard work and dedication of our teams, we wouldn’t have taken home these fantastic accolades.”
Falcon Manor, Eaves Hall, Mitton Hall and Holmes Mill are part of the James’ Places group, a collection of distinctive country inns, hotels and wedding venues occupying idyllic locations in rural Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire. Their sister venue, The Shireburn Arms, was also a finalist in the Best Hotel Wedding Venue category at the North West finals on Tuesday evening.
