Darwen Vale High School are organising two ‘Go to Work Days’ for their year 9 students.
Darwen Vale High School are looking for employers who can accommodate groups of no more than 12 students and give them an insight into the work environment. This session should take place on the morning from around 9.15am to around 12.30pm.
The school envisage this to be a gentle introduction into the workplace and to give the students some understanding of what is expected in terms of the roles and responsibilities employees have. These students will have no or little experience of what a workplace is like; therefore, the purpose of these days is to provide them with a meaningful insight into the world of work.
When: Tuesday 18th October 2022 and Tuesday 15th November, 2022.
