His strengths are building client relationships and providing proactive, practical solutions to tax issues.

Noel Hankinson, Office Managing Partner at Azets in Stockport, said:

“Our dynamic and ambitious team in Stockport is expanding and I’m thrilled to take a leadership role in growing the practice. As a result of the pandemic, we’re seeing more companies looking to use local firms. We’re well placed to do this having had a presence in the area for many years and currently work with many of the leading businesses in the area.

“I would not be able to lead the office without the wonderful people I work with and I plan to invest time in developing a regional team of experts who are highly trained, motivated and recognised. As part of our growth plans, we’re actively recruiting at all levels. We would encourage ambitious people looking for a career move to contact us, including retired professionals who might want to return to the workplace.”

Graham Rigby, Regional Managing Partner at Azets in the North West, said:

“I’m delighted to congratulate Noel on his promotion to Stockport Office Managing Partner. He brings a wealth of experience and great people-management skills to the role; his promotion is testament to his commitment to Azets’ ambitious growth plans across the whole of the region.

“We’ve got ambitious growth plans in the North West. Ensuring we continue to develop future leadership signals the confidence and commitment we have in the market; Noel’s promotion reflects the importance we place on delivering the best service possible to our clients across the region.”
