Training 2000‘s Optical Information and Q&A Event – Thursday 12th May 8.30am – 9am
Training 2000 are running an online information session for professionals in the Optical field to find out how they could benefit from upskilling their customer facing staff.
Award winning Training 2000 has been established for over 50 years and are a large Group Training Association offering business solutions, commercial courses, Apprenticeship and Traineeship programmes across multiple industry sectors. In 2017, Training 2000 became part of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) meaning that Apprentices have direct routes to a Degree Apprenticeships.
The training provider is running an online information session for professionals in the Optical field to find out how they could benefit from upskilling their customer facing staff.
Do you have customer facing staff who don’t hold an Optical industry qualification?
Would you like your staff to be able to understand a clinically issued prescription, its effects on the eye and the customers vision?
As well as identifying the appropriate spectacles to meet the customer’s needs, using non-technical customer friendly language?
Depending on the size of your practice, upskilling your staff could be completely free.
The event will take place online using Microsoft Teams from 8.30am-9am on Thursday 12th May 2022.
During the session you will have an opportunity to find out more about how the Apprenticeship is structured, what your commitments are as an employer and the government funding and potential costs involved.
Optical Tutor Tony, has been a dispensing Optician since 1999 and has worked within the sector ever since, he will be on the session to give you an overview of the Apprenticeship and what skills you can expect your staff members to develop throughout.
