Pendle Leisure Trust is organising a Family Fun Day in September to raise money for Pendleside Hospice.

They are hoping it is going to be huge, with lots of people attending and lots of money being raised for a worthy cause very close to a lot of people’s hearts.

The event will be held at one of their facilities – Seedhill Athletics and Fitness Centre in Nelson – on Saturday, September 10th, 11am – 3pm.

With the emphasis strongly on the word ‘Family’, there will be giant inflatable fun, games, activities and a mini-Olympics on the running track for both parents and children to enjoy and get involved in.

They are looking for one main sponsor – or possibly a number of sponsors – simply to cover the cost of the activities, so all the money raised can go to Pendleside Hospice.

All staff will be giving their time for free on the day and we are not charging for entry – simply asking for a donation from visitors.

As a sponsor, they will make sure you are well promoted in the months and weeks leading up to the event – this will mean being included on all marketing material in the form of 5ft posters at all the Trust’s leisure centres / flyers at leisure centres / presence on the website and social media platforms / inclusion in a monthly email to a database of over 9,500 people / inclusion in an advert on a number of digital screens both inside their centres and on large advertising screens outside Pendle Leisure Centre in Colne and Seedhill Athletics and Fitness Centre in Nelson.
