Lancashire PR agency Viva has been shortlisted for an international PR industry award.
The agency is one of only six shortlisted in the Small PR Consultancy of the Year category at the international CIPR Excellence Awards, which are being held in London in June.
The agency has also been shortlisted twice more at the Prolific North Champions Awards, making the cut for PR Agency of the Year and PR Campaign of the Year, for its work launching the South Pennines Park in September 2021.
The Prolific North Champions Awards welcome entries from creative companies, teams and individuals based anywhere in the north of England.
Tony Garner, Viva’s founder and MD, said:
“April has been a busy month for fantastic awards news like this! Being shortlisted in the CIPR Excellence Awards is a huge deal for us as an agency, as these awards cover the whole globe.
“I don’t think I’ll ever stop being proud of the team – especially following a two-year period like no other – as we’ve been recognised for all our great work out there in the big, wide world from right here in Lancashire.
“To achieve two Prolific North shortlists is also really encouraging for us – we were shortlisted for the PR agency award last year and missed out, so I’m keeping everything crossed 2022 will be our year.
“Launching the South Pennines Park produced some brilliant results for our client, who said we placed it ‘in a different stratosphere’ from where it was previously. Being up for an industry award is the icing on the cake.”
The Prolific North winners will be revealed at a live ceremony at Old Trafford Stadium on Thursday 26th May. Winners of the CIPR Excellence Awards will be revealed on Wednesday 8th June at City Central at the HAC, London.
