Lancashire Adult Learning is inviting people to celebrate Lancashire Day at an event being held at the historic Northlight, Brierfield Mill, this Friday, 26th November.

Running from 11am to 2pm, the event will include Lancashire folk stories, talks around medieval Lancashire and family arts and crafts.

Attendees can enjoy a brew and cake in the Lancashire Tea Room and buy cakes and biscuits to take away.

They can also find out more about the Burnley Mining Memorial Fund and the Lancashire Landmarks Green Screen.

Morag Davis, Assistant Principal for Technical Curriculum, Nelson and Colne College Group, said:

“Lancashire Day is the perfect excuse to celebrate everything wonderful about our Red Rose County and where better to delve into our area’s heritage than Northlight.

“Visitors can learn more about Lancashire’s history, while at the same time enjoying music and refreshments. The more the merrier!”
