Exclusive Virtual Meeting for Importers and Exporters – 9th November 2021 at 2pm

The International Trade Club in partnership with Associated British Ports (ABP), the UK’s leading Port Group, ChamberCustoms and Forbes Solicitors are pleased to provide an exclusive update on the UKs up and coming border procedures.

Associated British Ports (ABP) is the UK’s leading port group. With a network of 21 ports handling around a quarter of the UK’s seaborne trade. Speakers from ABP Humber Region, will provide an overview of the activities across the four ports; Immingham, Grimsby, Hull and Goole, with a spotlight on connectivity for containerised and RoRo freight available through Immingham and Hull.  As businesses focus on reducing supply chain emissions and increasing resilience, utilising ports in close proximity is a compelling topic.

Our Customs Broker team at the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the procedures for importing and exporting and will give an overview of using ATA Carnets for goods going to an exhibition or being demonstrated for return back to the UK permitting duty-free and tax-free temporary import of goods for up to one year.
