Burnley-based marketing agency, +24 Marketing, has delivered a complete branding package for Burnley’s new employment and skills hub, Thrive.

Burnley Council were on the look-out for a local marketing agency who could take their initial vision and create an eye-catching and limitless brand that would attract a diverse audience. +24 Marketing were the perfect match for the project, with a strong presence in the town and the right connections to fully understand the project and its purpose.

The branding team set off on their discovery journey, engaging with local young people who would make use of the services Thrive would be delivering. This enabled them to forge a brand that would not only radiate credibility and trust, but also have that all important ‘cool’ factor needed to become the point of contact for the young audience.

Thrive is now the first face-to-face ‘youth hub’ in the county that provides unemployed young people with tailored support to help them get into work, training or further education. It’s based at The Calico Group’s offices in Croft Street and is backed by a new partnership between Burnley Council and Jobcentre Plus.

Samantha Smallridge from Burnley Council commented:

“It’s been fantastic working with +24 Marketing.”

“They made the branding process really simple, taking the time to listen to what we wanted, then working with us to create a brilliant new brand. They tailored certain aspects of the process to our specific needs and worked with our target audience to ensure the brand was well received.”

Rik Holden, Head of Creative at +24 Marketing, added:

“It has been a very exciting project to be part of, with the Council really allowing our creativity to flow.”

“It is always a pleasure to work with a client that understands and trusts our processes and allows us to run with inspiring ideas, knowing that the end result will be a success.”

Thrive is now open for business, ready to assist local young people aged between 16 and 24 with employability support, confidence and resilience training, CV writing, interview preparation, work experience opportunities and much more.
