The team at PR agency Viva has been shortlisted for 5 PRCA Dare Awards, which celebrate PR campaigns and agencies that deliver impact.
Their project supporting mental health charity Lancashire Mind on their Breaking Boundaries Campaign has been recognised in the Charity category. The charity challenged people to complete the equivalent of the palatine of Lancashire’s boundary – a total of 417 miles in just 14 days. Launched during Mental Health Awareness Week, Breaking Boundaries smashed the financial target by 113%.
Viva’s work with Blackburn BID ‘We Saved Christmas from Covid’ has also been shortlisted. The campaign delivered an accessible, inclusive and, educational visual arts event, despite the restrictions caused by the pandemic. It was a difficult year for the BID because of the lockdowns and other restrictions and the campaign had to strike a balance between engaging people and ensuring they were safe. In the end it reached more than 1 million people and the campaign has been shortlisted by judges in two categories — Best Event and Public Sector Award.
