HMRC’s latest national, regional and trade statistics for the UK Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) and Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) have gone live.              

The CJRS stats are the first to provide analysis of CJRS extension claims between 1 November and 31 December. The data is broken down for multiple demographics including employer size, sector, geography (down to local authority), age, gender and furlough type. Data tables also cover ‘at 30 November’ and ‘at 31 December’. The December data is provisional and will be updated next month.

The SEISS release outlines claims made for the third grant up to 31 December 2020 since the scheme opened on 30 November 2020. The data is broken down by age, gender, sector of employment, geography (down to local authority).

Please be aware that CJRS claims for the month of January must be made by 15 February 2021 and SEISS 3 claims have to be submitted by tomorrow (29 January 2021).
