East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce are thrilled to welcome two new additions to their team, with Evie Johnson joining as Chamber Marketing Executive & Sarah Shaw as Membership Recruitment Manager.

The new appointments are an exciting investment into our Marketing and Sales departments, illustrating the commitment to supporting our region when they need us the most.

In a positive step for the Chamber, Evie Johnson joins the Marketing team supporting Jen Hill, who currently heads up the department.

Evie joins following a tough time for many in the region, and is ready to use her skillset proactively to ensure that new and existing members remain aware of their value and importance to East Lancashire Chamber.

Jen Hill, Head of Marketing & Communications for the Chamber said:

“It’s become more clear than ever since March 2020 that our Chamber members value the voice that we can give them; helping to feed their views and needs to government and to raise their profile in the region through effective, measurable communications. Having Evie on board helps us to better serve these needs.”

Sarah Shaw also joins the Chamber as Membership Recruitment Manager.

Sarah has a background in B2B sales in East Lancashire and event hospitality, with her appointment providing opportunities to develop rapport with members, as well as forming new relationships across the county.

Sarah is delighted to have joined the team and can’t wait to get started. She is the latest addition to the Chamber’s Membership team, working alongside Membership Director Simon Brierley to support local businesses.
