Wham Sponsorship Deal with Accrington Stanley Football Club
Wham housewares brand, owned by housewares manufacturer What More UK, has agreed a further three years sponsorship deal with football legends Accrington Stanley.
With players back in training and a raft of friendly matches scheduled for the coming weeks and months, local football stars Accrington Stanley have proudly announced the new sponsorship deal.
The deal will see household name “Wham” continue as the main sponsor of the club with the brand appearing on team shirts, around the ground and the stadium will continue to be known as the Wham stadium.

What More UK company director, Tony Grimshaw OBE, said “We’re proud to be the main sponsor for Accrington Stanley. It’s a great club with a great history and they’ve an even greater future ahead of them.”
A spokesman for Accrington Stanley added:
“With all the uncertainty in football since COVID-19 hit, we’re having to do lots of things differently. The continuation of this sponsorship deal means that at least one thing has stayed the same. Over the past few years Wham has been really good for Stanley. They’re more than a sponsor, they’re proper fans!”
