The International Trade Club, sponsored by Baldwins Holding Group and Forbes Solicitors, has gone virtual!

Join us from the comfort of your own office or home for our interactive, informative presentations specifically designed around current political issues, legislations and forthcoming changes in International Trade.

The International Trade Club supports importers and exporters to trade in international markets, develop their knowledge and share experiences with fellow guests.

Our online meetings will be delivered through our secure Zoom platform and will last for one hour, with plenty of opportunity for Q&A.

We are also on hand to assist you with setting this up prior to the meetings taking place, should you need it.

Confirmed Dates
25th June 2020 – Customs Declaration and Preparing for Brexit – this one-hour session commencing at 3pm will introduce the core concepts and protocols around international customs. It will cover potential changes to how UK businesses will trade with the EU after the transition period and the benefits of free trade agreements for businesses.

9th July 2020 – The first online International Trade Club Meeting – with guest presenters, John Pickervance from Forbes, Liam Smyth from the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) and John Sawyer from Moneycorp. These distinguished guests will summarise the current climate for traders in the UK having experienced huge uncertainty as the impact of Brexit becomes more understood. The Government asked traders to ‘Get Ready for Brexit’, HMRC has introduced transitional arrangements and encouraged traders to prepare to import and export from the EU just like they do for the rest of the world. But what’s happened? Are our traders prepared for change? What more can they do now?
