Moving to a Circular Economy and summary update on the new “ Circular Economy Package” Legislation, and its impact—25th

We hope that you can join us at this Free morning workshop being held at: Chamber Training Centre, 1-2 Lockheed Court, Amy Johnson Way, Blackpool, FY4 2RN
The workshop will cover how resource management is becoming crucial to how all businesses operate waste disposal. If your business is using any kind of resource or creating any waste then this event will give you an insight in how to improve you management of these areas , make your business greener while also helping the environment.

Light breakfast & refreshments will be available from 08:30 with 9:00 start and a 11:00 close. Following the presentation there will be more refreshments and a chance to network with your fellow delegates and meet the experts.

The Chamber Low Carbon team will be on hand to discuss the support and funding available through the Low Carbon programme.

There is a push to move away from a tradition ‘linear’ economy (make, use, dispose) and towards a ‘circular’ economy.

In a circular economy we keep resources in use for as long as possible, extract the maximum value from them whilst in use, then recover and regenerate products and materials at the end of each service life.

You’ll hear from businesses that have adopted the processes along with industry experts.

Gain insights to:

  • Waste reduction
  • Drive Greater Resource Productivity
  • Deliver A More Competitive UK Economy
  • Reduce The Environmental Impact Of Our Production & Consumption In The UK & Abroad
  • Latest Legislation update
