The Printed Cup Company has been awarded the International Company of the Year (up to £10m turnover) in the Insider’s North West International Trade Awards 2017.

The printed cup company is known for its impressive range of clients and has even provided cups for 10 Downing Street.

Managing Director, Mark Woodward, who is set to become our latest new board member here at the Chamber, was delighted to receive the award.

The award was presented at a gala event at the Lowry Hotel in Salford. The event saw eight awards handed out to a range of businesses and individuals and featured a keynote address by Tayyab Akhlaq, managing director of online shoe retailer Public Desire. Simon Keegan, editor of North West Business Insider, said that despite “all the Brexit uncertainty rhetoric, British companies are getting on with it”.

Held in association with the Department for International Trade North West, the event was sponsored by Barclays, Cardinal Plus, Mazars LLP and Turkish Airlines, with Finch Insurance Brokers and Employee Benefits sponsoring the networking booklet.

Other shortlisted businesses were the Virtalis Group, Elucigene Diagnostics and AFL Architects.
