Microsoft Office Training
Chamber Business Training offer all Microsoft Office one day training courses delivered at the Chamber in our Training Suite. The training is delivered by experienced and qualified trainers who are able to provide content to suit the level and needs of the delegates. We also deliver in company courses up to a maximum of six delegates which can be at your site or in our Business Training Suite.
Microsoft Access Introduction
This course will ensure that delegates will gain a good understanding of the correct principles to follow when setting up and working with a database. Delegates will learn how to design and set up the main database components, and how to use queries to extract and report on specific data.
Microsoft Access Intermediate
This course is a follow-up to Microsoft Access Introduction covering database design concepts, relationships, more complex queries, forms and reporting.
Microsoft Excel Introduction
The Excel Introduction course will provide you with the skills and confidence to work with existing spreadsheets or create new ones from scratch. The course will cover all the basic topics including basic text and number entry, performing calculations, and using charts.
Microsoft Excel Intermediate
Designed for delegates who already know the basics of Excel this course will concentrate on various ways to analyse your data. Learn how to use the Excel in built functions and how to summarise data by using the fantastic Pivot table tool, as well as other tools to analyse longer Excel lists.
Microsoft Excel Advanced
The Advanced Excel course will benefit the more experienced spreadsheet users. The course will cover logical and lookup functions and how to combine functions to solve specific problems. Learn how to use the Excel what-if-tools and start recording macros to automate repetitive tasks and increase productivity.
Microsoft PowerPoint Introduction
This programme covers PowerPoint screen and views using auto layouts, auto content wizards, creating simple slide shows, formatting and proofing, pictures and graphics and running the presentation.
Microsoft PowerPoint Intermediate
This is the follow-up course to PowerPoint Introduction. Learn about using masters, animations, charts, tables and organization charts, using multimedia, timings and automation.
Microsoft Project Introduction
This Project Introduction course is designed to give new users of Project the skills to create and manage their project plans. Even existing users will benefit by learning correct ways to set up project plans and how to get the best out of this complex application. By the end of this course delegates should be able to set up projects from scratch or to work efficiently with existing plans.
Microsoft Project Intermediate
Learn the technical aspects of the ‘Scheduling Formula’, required for producing more complex plans. Learn how resources from one source can be used on multiple projects and how to use customising and automation to create bespoke projects.
Microsoft Word Intermediate
This course is for delegates that already know the basics of Word. It will increase productivity levels by looking at better layout tools and how to alter Word to more efficiently reflect your company standards. Learn how to control longer documents and start to use automation in Word.
Microsoft Word Advanced
This course will teach delegates how to deal with more complex documents, such as specialist legal or contract, or documents that need high levels of automation. Learn how to create electronic forms and start to use macros to automate repetitive tasks.
