Diamond Ambassador membership was created to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and also to celebrate the Chamber’s 125th anniversary.
By creating this special membership we have formed a tight knit group of ambitious and prestigious local businesses who will benefit from high level networking with their peers at Chief Executive level.
Diamond Ambassador membership serves as an active patrons’ scheme and offers its members a hands-on strategic partnership with the Chamber and its partners.
Diamond Ambassadors is exclusively capped at 60 members and there is also a cap on 3 businesses per sector i.e. 3 solicitors, 3 accountants etc. Each Diamond Ambassador becomes a spokesperson for their sector and this offers a higher profile role within the chamber for comment and opinion.
Over the last 12 months Diamond Ambassadors have been involved with shaping government policy and their contributions have been used by the Wolf Report, Bank of England and Baroness Wilcox.
Diamond Ambassador membership includes 4 quarterly business leaders’ lunches, free places at our networking events and Curry Clubs. Diamond Ambassadors also qualify for 2 free places at the President’s dinner. Diamond Ambassadors are guaranteed high levels of exposure in our new Business Life magazine.
Guest speakers to date have included Dr Adam Marshall, Chief Economist for BCC, Edwin Booth, Chair of the Lancashire LEP, Susan Williams, Executive Director Atlantic Gateway Project and David Baird Project Leader for the BAE Enterprise Zone Samlesbury.
Becoming a Diamond Ambassador has given us a real feel for what is going on in the local and national business communities and economies and allowed us access to a number of business leaders. It has helped raise the profile of our business and proved a very worthwhile venture”

We also hold a range of exclusive Diamond Ambassadors events throughout the year including training days, site tours, workshops and seminars.
