Plastics manufacturer What More UK is getting behind the Hyndburn Business Awards as one of the event’s headline sponsors.

The awards will recognise the borough’s leading businesses across 16 categories, including Employer of the Year, Tourism Business and the Made in Hyndburn award.

What More UK, the UK’s largest manufacturer of plastic housewares, gardening and storage products, is a business that has grown up in East Lancashire. Today the business exports to 67 countries worldwide.

Tony Grimshaw, Director of What More UK, said:

“We’re eager to show our support for the local business community whenever we can. Getting involved in these awards is a wonderful opportunity for us to have a hand in celebrating the success of Hyndburn businesses of all sizes and across a range of industries.

“It’s great to see a variety of businesses on the shortlist for the awards and I’m looking forward to the event next week to hear from all the award winners.”

The Hyndburn Business Awards will take place in Accrington Town Hall on the evening of Tuesday 14 June. More information is available at www.hyndburnbusinessawards.co.uk.
