The fund has also created and safeguarded 310 direct jobs in Lancashire to-date. The news means the fund is now on track to deliver the 600 new jobs it is projected to achieve over the lifetime of the programme. So far, the Lancashire Business Growth Fund has supported 85 companies across the county to help their growth, take advantage of new overseas markets and reach their full potential.

International Business Director, Mandy Lockett said “This is a truly great achievement, helping growing businesses across the county to be confident and unlock that all important investment. It is proof that LBGF is playing a pivotal role in stimulating enterprise; providing highly skilled jobs and giving businesses the confidence to invest in Lancashire. During 2016 we would like to support even more manufacturers in Lancashire to bring forward their growth projects and take advantage of LBGF.”
